1993, ‘Jump They Say’ about David’s half-brother Terry, was released, proceeds going to a charity run by Arsenio Hall. Bowie’s first solo album in six years, Black Tie White Noise, co-produced by Nile Rodgers, came out three weeks later.

1971, The Beatles’ Let It Be won a Grammy for Best Original Score Written for a Motion Picture. Paul, with Linda, collected the award from John Wayne, saying just “Thank you”.
