18 – 1990 – Freddie Mercury made his final public appearance with Queen to collect the BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, in London.

19 – 1971 – The Queen (an early name) played Hornsey Town Hall, London, with Doug Bogey on bass.

20 – 1974 – Queen recorded their performance of ‘Seven Seas Of Rye’ for BBC’s ‘Top Of The Pops’, broadcast the next day.

21 – 2012 – Brian May and Roger Taylor presented Best International Group to The Foo Fighters at the BRIT Awards in London. 

22 – 1992 – BBC Radio 1 broadcast ‘Guitar Legends’, featuring Brian May and recorded in Seville the previous October.

23 – 1987 – Freddie Mercury released his 7th solo single ‘The Great Pretender’.

24 – 2012 – A commercial for potato chips using ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ was broadcast in the U.S.A.
