4 – 1977 – the single ‘Tie Your Mother Down’was released in the U.K.

5 – 1968 – Brian May’s early band 1984 split up.

6 – 2012 – more than 50,000 songs were stolen from Sony Music by computer hackers, including unpublished duets of Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson.

7 – 1986 – the film ‘Highlander’, featuring music by Queen, premiered in the U.S.A.

8 – 1974 – ‘Queen II’, their 2nd studio album, was released.

9 – 1974 – Queen enter the UK singles charts for the first time, with ‘Seven Seas Of Rye’ at n.45.

10 – 1979 – Queen were recording the ‘Flash Gordon’ film original soundtrack, in Montreux, Switzerland.
