1965, Bob Dylan recorded ‘Desolation Row’ in New York, in the final of six sessions for the album Highway 61 Revisited.

1966, Revolver, The Beatles’ seventh album, was released in the UK, the same day as the double A-side single ‘Eleanor Rigby’/‘Yellow Submarine’. Both became UK Number Ones.
