February 2024 – Beatlemania Hits America!

Dear Teacher,

I am excited to share this wonderful 85-second Roadshow video, filmed by Astrid D’Eramo one week ago. Sulmona was host to one of the first ever Roadshows in 2006, and it was a pleasure to work with the same teacher over 17 years later. I also appreciated this review from Sicily.

Yesterday I completed an intense January tour, with shows in Sicily, Abruzzo, Le Marche and Emilia Romagna. This month I will visit Campania, Lazio and Lombardy – I would be delighted to come to your school. You can see full details of the show here and comments here – please get in touch!

I am delighted to announce that the cover story of the February issue of Speak Up, using The Beatles’ songs to learn English, was written by Tune Into English! Also, our monthly column looks at the story behind and the language used in I Want To Hold Your Hand, which was Number One when the Fab Four landed in America 60 years ago. You can read previous columns here.
